about two weeks ago, i interviewed for a position within the company i work for. i'm hoping that i get it; one of the awesome things is that i wouldn't be managing people anymore. that's freakin' awesome; i'm kinda over having people report to me. i'd like to be responsible solely for myself for a while. my 2nd/final interview was the 15th, and they said that i should hear something by the end of that week. haven't heard anything yet, which for the company is a good thing. normally, we give the feedback to those who didn't get the job first, so no news is good news. although part of me thinks that they're running behind on giving feedback and i'll get the bad news soon. cross a finger for me, eh?
so i'm at the "sand it flat before you clear coat it" stage. here's some before and after pics.
yeah, they matter. hell, i'm just happy that at my age, it's still there!
for the first time in months, i am able to have my windows open in the house.
